01
Can a similar colour replace the original material?
Not by colour alone. A candidate must also be checked for material family, construction, dimensions, finish, performance, installation, supply and the intended furniture position. Treat it as a replacement only after the relationship and physical sample are documented and approved.
02
Is high-gloss better than matte?
Neither finish is inherently better. High-gloss increases reflection and makes surface preparation, fingerprints and scratches more visible; matte diffuses light and may show touch or cleaning marks differently. Choose according to design intent, application, maintenance and an approved physical sample.
03
Can a digital image be used for final approval?
No. A digital image can support early selection, but screen calibration, lighting, compression and photography can change colour, grain, texture and gloss. Final approval requires a current physical sample and the relevant technical documentation.
04
Why do natural wood and stone vary?
Natural growth and geological formation create changes in grain, veining, tone and mineral markings between pieces and batches. This variation is not automatically a defect; agree the acceptable range, orientation and sample before production, and assess damage or structural faults separately.
05
What does source verified mean?
Source verified means that a specific statement can be traced to an identified, reviewed source. Check that source’s date and scope. It does not confirm technical suitability, current availability, price, equivalence, compliance or sample approval unless each fact is separately documented.
