STRATEGIC PROJECT ASSESSMENT

Know the Right Project Path Before Full Procurement Begins

A preliminary hospitality furniture project assessment for hotel owners and developers, serviced apartment teams and commercial property owners managing complex FF&E requirements.

We help clarify project readiness, manufacturing direction and the most appropriate next step before detailed resources are committed.

Initial path assessment is available for qualified strategic projects. Detailed BOQ, engineering and sampling begin after formal project activation.

02 / HOTEL FURNITURE PROJECT FEASIBILITY

Before Pricing, Establish
What the Project Is Ready For.

A meaningful factory quotation begins with more than a product list. The available design information, commercial expectations and required first workstream must be aligned before detailed pricing begins.

04 / PROJECT READINESS ASSESSMENT

Four Signals Define the Right Project Entry Point

The initial review identifies whether the project is ready, what information is missing and which formal workstream should begin next.

  1. Scope Readiness

We review the property type, number of rooms, public areas, furniture categories and approximate quantities.

  2. Design Readiness

We check the availability of floor plans, renders, moodboards, specifications, reference images and brand standards.

  3. Manufacturing Readiness

We identify loose furniture, fixed joinery, casegoods, special custom items and potential production complexity.

  4. Commercial Alignment

We review the expected quality level, indicative budget direction, project location, delivery requirements and target opening date.

The assessment is directional. It does not replace a formal factory quotation or engineering package.

05 / ASSESSMENT OUTCOME

Receive a Clear Recommendation Before Deeper Resources Are Committed

The purpose of the initial project path assessment is to identify the most practical next step. The assessment will normally lead to one of four directions.

  1. Proceed

The available information appears sufficient to begin the recommended formal workstream.

  2. Clarify

Additional drawings, quantities, specifications or project objectives are required before detailed work begins.

  3. Phase

The project should be divided by space, room type, product category or procurement package.

  4. Not Ready Yet

The project is not currently suitable for detailed quotation, engineering or sampling.

Route A

BOQ and Factory Quotation

Suitable for projects with

  • Established quantities
  • Product lists
  • Drawings
  • Material direction
  • Preliminary specifications
  • Defined delivery location

Begin with detailed item classification, production feasibility, material direction and structured factory pricing.

Project Assessment FAQ

Questions to Clarify Before the Project Is Activated

Understand what the preliminary assessment includes, when formal project activation is required and which information helps us recommend the right furniture project route.

01 Is US$300 required before the initial project path assessment?

Not necessarily. Qualified hotel, serviced apartment, development and commercial furniture projects may begin with a preliminary path assessment without a mandatory US$300 upfront payment.

Eligibility depends on the project scale, location, current stage, available information and potential cooperation fit. Any paid work will be clearly defined before it begins.

02 Is the initial assessment a formal furniture quotation or BOQ?

No. The initial assessment is a directional review rather than a formal quotation.

It helps determine project fit, information readiness, manufacturing feasibility and the most appropriate next step. A detailed BOQ, line-by-line pricing or formal commercial proposal requires project activation and sufficient technical information.

03 When is formal project activation required?

Formal project activation is required before dedicated estimating, detailed BOQ development, shop drawings, technical engineering, material specification, prototype development, sampling or mock-up production begins.

The required scope, deliverables, timing and any applicable fees will be confirmed before this work starts.

04 Can an early-stage hotel or development project be assessed?

Yes. Early-stage projects can be reviewed using available floor plans, concept renders, moodboards, room or unit quantities, brand positioning, budget direction and target opening schedule.

If important information is missing, the assessment will identify what should be clarified before pricing or technical development begins.

05 What project information should we submit?

Please provide the project country and city, property type, current stage, estimated number of rooms or units, target opening date and expected procurement schedule.

You may also submit floor plans, renders, specifications, furniture schedules, reference images and an existing BOQ if available.

Recommended Submission List
  • Project country and city
  • Property type
  • Number of rooms, units or public areas
  • Current design and procurement stage
  • Target quality and budget direction
  • Target opening or delivery schedule
  • Plans, renders, specifications or BOQ
06 What happens after the preliminary assessment?

The assessment normally identifies one of three possible routes:

  1. Proceed to BOQ review or preliminary pricing when the scope and information are sufficiently clear.

  2. Clarify missing project information before commercial evaluation continues.

  3. Activate technical development, design deepening, sampling or mock-up preparation when the project requires additional work.

07 Which projects are suitable for this assessment route?

This route is designed for hotel owners, developers, serviced apartment operators and commercial property owners managing customized or multi-category furniture requirements.

It is particularly relevant when the project is complex, the procurement route is not yet clear or the project team needs to evaluate cooperation value before committing to detailed work.

08 Does submitting a project create a purchasing commitment?

No. Submitting project information for an initial path assessment does not create an automatic purchasing commitment.

The purpose is to establish whether the project, manufacturing requirements and cooperation expectations are sufficiently aligned before either side commits additional resources.
