2249 Lounge Chair

Designed by Pierre Paulin for Artifort in 1967, the Tongue recliner is a sculptural recliner. An expressive recliner, a classic in the history of modern design furniture.
It is made of a foam tubular steel frame covered with a stretch fabric. Its fluid and expressive shape allows the user to adopt a relaxed posture.
TongueChair is made of a metal frame filled with foam, the original original Tongue Chair, which was meticulously rearranged with an ivory colored wool ring. Later production developed more emerging materials, covered in stretchable materials in a variety of vibrant colors.
